Ray Williams, Christian counselor and marriage and family therapist provides marriage counseling and individual therapy in the Eden Prairie area.

He has experience working with families struggling with various problems. Family relationships can hit many hurdles, whether it is the parenting struggles during the childhood years, the challenges raising teens, barriers to healthy launching kids, or the problems that can come with parent child relationships with adult kids. 

For individual therapy, he has helped people with depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. He’s also experienced in helping with big life transitions and career changes. Sometimes, it's the challenge of working with and supporting a spouse who is going through the trials of life.  

“I love being a husband and dad, and that carries forward to my relationships with clients. Because I’ve been married 31 years and have 4 adult kids, one who is married, I realize both how difficult and rewarding day to day life with family can be. It is so satisfying and important to keep our family relationships developing forward. I view life as being holistic, what effects the body also effects the mind.” As a Christian counselor, I can integrate faith into therapy. While I enjoy working with those of similar beliefs, I've still had the privilege of working with individuals and couples of different world views. 

Ray graduated from Adler Graduate School of Minnesota in Minnetonka with a master’s in clinical psychology and has his bachelor’s degree in Biblical studies from Emmaus College, Dubuque, Iowa. He's on the board of MACC (Midwest Association of Christian Counselors) and a member of AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors). He is also certified as a parent coach and professional life coach from Adler.
